Description

Thrown through the Janus Gate, the USS Resolute emerges in the Badlands badly crippled, with critical systems failing and no clear understanding of where they are. As the crew race to stabilise the ship, they discover the damaged Pakled vessel has been pulled through with them, bringing the danger of the Janus Core into unknown space.

With the Resolute drifting amid violent plasma storms, an unseen force begins to take hold of both ships. What first appears to be another threat may be their only chance of survival, as something hidden deep within the Badlands draws them toward a station no one expected to find.

Mission Summary

After the violent passage through the tear, the USS Resolute emerges in the Badlands severely damaged and struggling to stay intact. The crew must deal with failing power, wounded personnel, unreliable sensors, and the immediate danger of the nearby Pakled vessel, which has also survived the displacement.

As emergency repairs begin, the ship is caught by an unknown force operating from within the plasma storms. Unable to break free and unsure whether they are being rescued or captured, the crew are drawn toward a hidden installation buried in the Badlands.

The mission ends as the Resolute is brought into Avalon Station, with the Pakled vessel diverted into quarantine and the crew left facing a new mystery: whatever has pulled them in knows they are Starfleet, but they do not yet know what it wants.
